Summer is here and the longer days of sunlight could help Nova Scotians win solar energy prizes. The Nova Scotia Department of Energy, Solar Nova Scotia, and the Ecology Action Centre, today, June 21, launched a contest and campaign to get Nova Scotians to identify solar energy projects across the province.

Householders and business owners will pay more to keep the lights on next year, but exactly how much more remains in doubt.
After four weeks of hearings and months of deliberations, New Brunswick's Public Utilities Board has recommended an average power rate increase of slightly more than nine per cent.
