Nuttby Mountain power: The big picture

TRURO - Winds flowing across the top of Nuttby Mountain are to be harnessed and converted into electrical energy by the end of next year. Premier Rodney MacDonald and Nova Scotia Power announced an agreement that will see the utility purchasing 45 mega watts of energy per year - enough to provide power to approximately 15,000 homes - from a wind farm to be established near the top of Nuttby Mountain.
